Pakistan’s pace spearhead Haris Rauf is all set to get married by the end of this month. He has already reached home for the wedding function will begin on December 24. The name of his future wife is yet to be revealed, however, it is understood that Rauf is getting married to his classmate.
For the unversed, Haris has been ruled out of action after sustaining an injury in the recent Test Series against England. He encountered an injury during the Rawalpindi Test which also marked his debut with the national team. While fielding on the first day of the First Test Harris stepped on the ball & picked up a grade two strain in his right quad which has ruled him out of action.
He had also featured in the PSL 2023 draft for the upcoming edition of the league before leaving for Pakistan to participate in his wedding festivities. The pacer will continue to play for Lahore Qalandars in the upcoming edition of the league being a part of the franchise since 2019.
England won the Test Series ending home side’s WTC Finals hopes
England has won the Test series against Pakistan by winning two Tests in a trot. Further, they scripted history by winning the final Test & registering a series sweep 3-0 over Pakistan. However, the results are of no use for England as they are already out of the contention for WTC 2021-2023 finals.
Pakistan could have made it to the finals if they had won the three-match Test series against England. However, England played a spoilsport in their qualifying chances by winning all the Test matches. On the other hand, India & Australia winning the Test series against Bangladesh & South Africa has ended Pakistan’s chances of qualifying for the finals.
