AFG vs SL Dream11 Prediction, T20 WC 2022: Afghanistan vs Sri Lanka

AFG vs SL Dream11 Prediction, T20 WC 2022: Afghanistan & Sri Lanka the two bottom lenders of Group 1 are all set to lock horns with each other in Match 32 of the T20 World Cup 2022 on November 1 at the grounds of Gabba, Brisbane. As washouts & No Results affected teams results in Group 1, Afghanistan & Sri Lanka are lying at the proverbial edge of the cliff. With one loss they would be out of playoff contention. However, just victories in the rest of the fixtures won’t guarantee them a place in the Playoffs. They would have to pray for other team results to go in their way.

Sri Lanka has one win in three fixtures & is lagging at the second-last position on the Group 1 Points table. While Afghanistan has two points from two washouts & has lost their opening fixture against New Zealand. Both teams need to win this nail bitter if they aim to continue their journey in the T20 WC 2022.

Afghanistan Preview

Rain has marred Afghanistan’s campaign as two of their fixtures were washed out due to rain. In their opening clash against England, they succumbed to a poor five wickets defeat. They failed to create an impact with both bat & ball. Heaidng into this must-win fixture Afghan clan would aim to up their game to grasp that crucial two points & keep their Playoff hopes alive. In the batting department, Gurbaz & Zazai would be their biggest bets at the top order while Zadran & Nabi would play crucial roles as finishers in the lower middle order.

In the bowling department they boast of a strong spin attack with Rashid Khan, Fazalhaq, Mohammad Nabi & Mujeeb-Ur-Rahman leaidng their spin attack. They would aim to weave a lethal web of spin & get the better of Sri Lanka in this must-win fixture.

Sri Lanka Preview

Sri Lanka is coming into this clash on the back of two defeats at the hands of Australia & New Zealand. In their previous clash against New Zealand their bowling department initially did a good job by reducing Black Caps to 15 for 3. However later they failed to capitalize on their good start as Glenn Phillips’s century & few meaningful stands helped New Zealand to post a decent 168 run total on board.

Their batting order too failed to get going with the willow. As a result, half of their squad was back into the hut right in the 7th over with just 24 runs on board. Heading into this integral fixture Sri Lanka would make sure to avoid mistakes from their previous clash. Mendis, De Silva, Asalanka & Rajapaksa would be their biggest picks in the batting order. While Hasaranga, Theekshana & Rajitha would be their go-to bowlers in the bowling department.
