Michael Jordan has become a part of IPL’s Rajasthan Royals Franchise. To give a grand welcome to Michael Jordan, Rajasthan Royals franchise shared a unique video on Twitter & showered their love to the newly included member of their ‘Royals Family’.

Rajasthan Royals took to their official twitter handle & shared a snippet from ‘the Lats Dance’ documentary which is based on Michael Jordan’s journey with Chicago Bulls. While sharing the video, the Rajasthan Royals twisted the video a little bit by adding their theme song ‘Halla Bol’ as the background music to welcome Michael Jordan to their Royals Family. The Rajasthan Royals Franchise captioned the video as a welcome gesture for the NBA legendary player. “Welcome to the #RoyalsFamily, MJ! #TheLastDance | #HallaBol,” Rajasthan Royals captioned the video.

As lockdown has sent cricket to the backstage, RR are keeping their fans entertained during these tough times by launching ‘Royals Podcast’. In these podcasts, players who are part of the RR franchise talk about various topics related to cricket.

In the latest episode, Jofra Archer was talking to Ish Sodhi & the New Zealand leg spinner asked archer that according to him who is the toughest batsmen he has come across in T20 cricket. The England fast bowler said India’s opening batsman KL Rahul as the toughest batsman he has bowled in T20 cricket in almost every league which he has played.

“Obviously, KL Rahul. He has faced me several times when we played Kings XI Punjab. So, I would definitely go with him. I cannot really put my finger on another one. It’s just him who has probably got the better of me most of the time,” Archer told Sodhi.

Currently India is in the 4th phase of Coronavirus enforced lockdown. The government has given permission for opening stadiums without allowing spectators but the idea of conducting IPL behind closed doors has not been discussed yet.
