Bollywood Actress& the co-owner of Kings XI Punjab Prety Zinta took to her Twitter handle to share her happiness on Harmanpreet Kaur & Team’s achievement. She wrote, “What an amazing victory by Team India! Congratulations team #Proud #INDvsBAN #ting @BCCIWomen”. Not Only Pretty Zinta but also Tapsee Pannu who is one of the talented actresses of Bollywood applauded team India for their incredible win against Bangladesh. She hailed the Women in Blue by tweeting, “That’s the way girls !!!!! Come on! Onwards n upwards #WomensT20WorldCup.” The Indian Team is putting all their efforts from head to toe to win the title of ‘Champions of ICC Women’s T20 World Cup’ and their every victory is taking them one step closer to towards their ultimate goal.
By winning the toss, team Bangladesh asked the Indian team to bat first. As a result, India Women were restricted to 142/6 in their 20 overs even though 16-year-old Shafali Verma scored a quickfire 17-ball 39 at a strike rate of 229.41 which included two boundaries and maximum fours. The moment she got out there was certain tension mounting among other team members & Bangladesh bowlers got the opportunity to take the wickets of team India one after the other in series. But in an answer to their bowling, our super-duper Team India managed to strategize their fielding & bowling in an efficient way resulting in limiting Bangladesh’s scoreboard to 124 runs over 8 wickets in stipulated 20 overs.
