English County Club, Kent on Tuesday announced that New Zealand’s star pacer Adam Milne will return for his fourth stint with the Club in the 2021 Vitality Blast tournament.

The fast bowler is looking forward to joining his Kent Spitfires teammates ahead of the Spitfires’ Hops/Cider derby clash with Somerset at the Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence on Monday, June 28. “The club can also confirm that due to the rescheduling of the PSL 2021 & COVID-19 restrictions, Mohammed Amir will be unable to join the County club for the 2021 Vitality Blast. Milne is scheduled to arrive at the spitfire Ground, mirrors the original timings of left-arm pacer Amir”, said the County in an Official Statement.

Adam Milne has scalped 38 wickets in 28 Vitality Blast matches, to date for the Kent Spitfires squad with a bowling average of just 19.10. His stunning economy rate of 7.72 put him in the top bracket of T20 Fats bowlers who plays both in the power play & the death overs. He also holds the Kent Club’s record bowling figures by scalping 5 for 11 runs against Somerset in the year 2017. He was also awarded Kent Cap No. 217 based on his bowling records for the County club in the year 2019.
