ENG vs IND: England staged a perfect comeback during the second session of Day two of the first test by removing three key batsmen of visitors before the game was stopped in middle due to rain.

India is 125/4 with KL Rahul 57* & Rishabh pant 7* at the crease & India is trailing by 58 runs in the first innings before an early tea was called due to rains. In the second session, India suffered a major blow as they lost three wickets in quick succession. Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli & Ajinkya Rahane all got dismissed as James Anderson removed Virat Kohli for a duck.

In the first session of Day 2, India had scored 97/1 with KL Rahul stayed unbeaten on 48 runs while Rohit Sharma once again failed to capitalize on a good start as Rohit departed off Ollie Robinson’s delivery in the last over before lunch. Resuming day 2 at 21/0 Indian openers Rohit & Rahul played cautiously & covered the first half without any hiccups. Both the batsmen were looking set to make the English bowlers toil on the park.

The duo mixed caution with aggression & they were about to see out the first session, but Rohit (36) went for a hook shot off the bowling of Ollie Robinson & ended up giving a simple catch to Sam Curran.
