Live Cricket Score: Indian bowlers delivered another powerpack performance as India need just six wickets in the final session to win India vs England Lord’s Test on Monday.

At tea, England’s score read 67/4 after 22 overs in the second innings still needing to bat 38 overs in the second session to save the test by scoring 205 runs to win the contest. Joe Root 33* off 57 is fighting the lone battle for hosts as he frustrated the Indian bowling attack throughout the second session of the final day.

Right in the next over, Shami got Sibley’s outside edge & Indians have an edge over the hosts as both England openers were dismissed in a space of 10 deliveries. Haseeb Hameed tried to bring hosts back in the match but senior pacer Ishant Sharma didn’t allow him to last long on the crease by removing Haseeb for LBW. Haseeb walked back to 9 off 45. During the last ball of the second session, Ishant struck again & removed Bairstow for 2 runs at tea break.

Earlier nine balls into the post-lunch session, Indian Captain Virat Kohli declared their second innings on 298/8 & set a target of 272 for England to chase off 60 overs on day five of the Lord’s test.

Shame 56* off 70 & Bumrah 34* off 64 were successful in irritating England’s bowlers throughout the morning session & added 89 runs for the 9th wicket to give India an edge over England going into the final two sessions.
