ENG vs PAK: Babar Azam pens down an emotional message for his fans


PAK vs ENG: Pakistan is currently in England for the limited-overs series & this could be a challenging tour for the visitors as we all are aware of England’s excellence in white-ball cricket. Just before Pakistan left for England they suffered a major setback as their batting Coach Younis Khan quit form his role. Despite facing setbacks PAK Captain is hopeful of emerging victorious in the limited-overs series.

In a video posted on Youtube Babar Azam has shared an emotional message for his fans before the tour officially begins. He said to his fans that Pakistan is in England to win & the National team will not disappoint its fans.

“My dear cricket fans, I hope you are doing fine. Players and fans have a great relationship and they are nothing without each other. This relationship is getting stronger with each passing day. Fans are also special for Pakistan cricket who stand by them during good and bad times. They cheer on our win and give us confidence when we lose. This is their identity. When we talk about Pakistani people present in the United Kingdom we can’t express their support in words. After Pakistan, we have the biggest fan base in the UK,” Babar said.

Captain Babar Azam further said that the team has reached England & is currently undergoing quarantine. He said that the players are very excited for the England tour as fans would be allowed in the stadium during the fixtures. Azam also urged the fans to support the team by watching their matches on television & extending their support through social media. He concluded his note by ensuring the fans that Pakistan’s squad will emerge victorious in the tour & the team will not disappoint its fans.

The touring team will play three ODIs & three T20I matches against England Pakistan will also play two 50 overs intra-squad practice matches & will head to Cardiff on July 6 where the first ODI against England will be played on July 8.
