ENG vs PAK: The second ODI match between England & Paksitan on July 10 at the lord’s cricket ground will have 100% crowd capacity in attendance after the venue was included in the UK government’s Event Research program.
“We have been in consultation with the Public Health England & our local safety advisory group on the arrangements for the match & we are pleased to confirm that we have been granted permission to operate at 100% seating capacity for this match, with the implementation of a number of risk reduction measures”, read an official statement available on the website of lord’s cricket ground.
People above 11 years of age will be allowed in the stadium. For entry, people have to provide proof of a recent negative lateral flow test, proof of full vaccination, or proof of natural immunity via a positive PCR test result taken in the last 180 days.
When in the ground, there will be no social distancing requirements & the rule of six will not be applied in the restaurants & hospitality areas. Face masks will be required to be worn when moving around the ground when using bars & food outlets.
Earlier the Birmingham’s Edgbaston stadium was confirmed as a part of the UK Government’s ERP & thus it will host 80% crowd capacity for the third ODI match between England & Pakistan.
The third ODI between England & Pakistan will take place on July 13 at Edgbaston. The stadium can accommodate around 19000 fans as a part of the research study program. The criteria for entry are the same just like the second ODI, people will have to show a negative COVID-19 test report or proof of two vaccinations doses taken at least 14 days prior to the match.
