The incident took place in the 11th over when Jasprit Bumrah slipped & twisted his ankle in the follow-through of his delivery. Physio had to rush as Bumrah was in immense pain. If he would have suffered an injury then it would have been a major blow to India’s plans of winning as Bumrah forms an integral part of India’s bowling attack.

Just in the space of 13 runs, the Indian team suffered another major blow as Lungi Ngidi scalped his fourth wicket dismissing Ajinkya Rahane for 48 runs. After that, there was no looking back for the Proteas team as they ran through India’s line-up.
Lungi Ngidi shone by registering six-wicket which helped to keep India’s batsmen at the bay. Lungi Ngidi dismissed Mohammed Shami for 8 runs & marked his sixth wicket of the match. However, India’s lower order showed some resistance as they took India’s total from 308 to 327 with Jasprit Bumrah hitting a couple of boundaries.
