After being sent in to bat first, continuous rain delayed the start of play by 50 minutes. However, after 50 minutes of delay, the match started at 7.50 but was called off with just 3.3 overs being bowled as rain again played a spoilsport. Before the match interrupted the play, India was at 28-2 in 3.3 overs with Shreyas Iyer (0*) & Rishabh Pant (1*) staying unbeaten at the crease. Batting first, Men in Blue didn’t have a good start to their innings as they lost their openers Ishan Kishan (15) & Ruturaj Gaikwad (10) within the powerplay overs.
