IND vs SL: Shikhar Dhawan-led India squad is leaving no stone unturned to prepare for the white ball series against India which will kickstart from July 18.
The white ball series comprises three ODIs & three T20Is starting from July 18 as per the new itinerary announced by the BCCI & Sri Lanka Cricket on Saturday. The BCCI on Monday shared a glimpse of the Indian team’s training & preparation ahead of the limited-overs series.
In the video, players can be seen hitting the ball right from the middle of the bat while most of the players can be seen improving their skills on the field. “Prep & More Prep Right, Batting, Bowling Fielding. #TeamIndia in the groove for the Sri Lanka Series”, BCCI tweeted.

The three ODIs will be played on July 18,20 & 23 while three T20Is will be played on July 25, 27 & 29. Shikhar Dhawan is leading India’s white-ball team while Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the vice-captain of India’s limited-overs squad.
Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka cricketers who were serving quarantine period came out of the mandatory quarantine on Sunday after returning negative in the latest RT-PCR Tests. As per a report on ESPNcricinfo, for now, only the players will be allowed to come out of isolation. While coaches & other members of the support staff will come out from isolation until Wednesday.
The Sri Lanka cricketers can kickstart their training sessions on Tuesday. This news comes as a relief for the Sri Lanka team who were in quarantine since returning from England tour. The Sri Lanka team will now get some time to prepare for the limited-overs series against India which is rescheduled for July 18. Hosts will be using the facilities at Khettarama stadium for training, while the team India will train at the Sinhalese Sports Club as per the report.
