IND vs WI 2022, 3rd ODI: Indian batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad has recovered from COVID-19 & is currently out of isolation ahead of the third & & final ODI against West Indies. Earlier, Ruturaj Gaikwad had returned with a positive COVID-19 result on February 1 ahead of the start of their West Indies series.
Indian batsman Mayank Agarwal on Thursday shared a story on Instagram where he was seen training with his other teammates. In the story, Ruturaj can be seen posing with the teammates. Earlier this week, Shikhar Dhawan & Shreyas Iyer has started training after returning with negative COVID-19 results.
Meanwhile, after gaining an unassailable 2-0 lead in the ongoing ODI series, Rohit Sharma-led team India would aim to register a series sweep by winning the final ODI match. India will lock horns with West Indies in the third ODI at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Friday. As India heads into the final ODI all the eyes will be on Virat Kohli who couldn’t leave an impression so far in the series.
Virat has recorded below the par scores of 8 & 18 & the wait for his 71st century still continues. Virat Kohli should stick to the basics & go with his instincts if he aims to register a big score on board. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma will avoid repeating mistakes from the previous clash by sending Rishabh Pant as an opener. Meanwhile, Indian batters will aim to create some stable partnerships to put on big total on board. The Caribbean side will aim to bounce back & outclass hosts in every department to avoid a humiliating series whitewash in the ongoing three-match ODIs.
Whether India will be able to register a series whitewash by defeating West Indies in the third ODI or West Indies will bounce back & save its pride by winning the third ODI? Your questions will be answered tomorrow on the crease when India will lock horns with West Indies in the third & the final ODI of the series at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium.
