Pakistan vs New Zealand: 25% Capacity Crowd to be allowed for the Series

New Zealand vs Pakistan: The Pakistan Cricket Board on Monday announced that the National Command & Operation Center has approved 25% crowd attendance for upcoming Pakistan vs New Zealand series. This decision means around 4,500 spectators will be able to attend the ODI scheduled on September 17, 19 & 21 while approximately 5,500 audiences will be able to attend the September 25, 26, 29 & October 1st & 3rd T20Is.

Only audiences who are fully vaccinated & have an immunization certificate for COVID-19 can enter inside the stadium. Following the NOCC decision, the PCB will announce the ticket prizes & other important details for the New Zealand tour of Pakistan.

“Spectators are the essence of any sporting event as they create an ambiance and atmosphere for the players to excel, perform and enjoy. In this background, we are grateful to the NCOC for allowing the PCB to invite 25 percent crowds for the eight matches,” said PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan on Monday. “I am sure following the NCOC decision, the unvaccinated cricket followers will expedite their vaccination process so that they can witness the first series on home soil between the two sides since 2003.

“This will be an opportunity for the spectators to not only enjoy some quality cricket in the season-opening series but also support and back players from either side as the ODIs count towards the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 qualification, while the T20Is will lead into the ICC T20 World Cup,” Khan added.

The New Zealand tour of Pakistan will start with the three-match ODI series which will be held at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on September 17, 19, and 21. This is followed by five-match T20I series, which will take place from September 25 to October 3 at the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore.
