West Indies vs Pakistan: The fourth & final match of the T20I series between Pakistan & the West Indies will be played on August 3 at Providence Stadium in Guyana. Two out of three matches have been washed out so far as rain continues to play as spoilsport during the test series.
Only nine overs were bowled in the first match before the rain arrived. However, during the second clash fans got a chance to witness a thrilling match as Pakistan beat West Indies by a low margin of seven runs. The Third T20I was also washed out with just 1.2 overs being bowled & thus Pakistan is leading the series by a 1-0 margin.
With just one test left in the series, the 4th T20I is a do-or-die contest for both squads. Visitors will come in today’s clash riding on the back of a stunning win sealed in the second T20I. in the second T20I Experienced players Mohammad Hafeez and Babar Azam handed the side the much-needed lead in the series. Pakistan bowlers too held their nerves to defend a total of 158 runs against a power-packed West Indies batting line-up.
On the other hand, hosts’ bowlers were at their best with Jason Holder scalping four wickets & Dwayne Bravo bowling brilliantly at the death overs however it was Windies batsmen who failed to show their heroics with the bat. Nicholas Pooran also failed to take their side home.
The West Indies squad will try to bounce back & win today’s T20I to avoid a series whitewash whereas Pakistan will try their best to win today’s match & clinch the series in their name.
