Stuart Broad dismissed Babar Azam on 47 right after lunch on Day 2 of the second Test match at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton. Babar Azam scored 45 runs & Mohammad Rizwan scored 12 & took Pakistan to 155/5 at lunch on Day 2.
After lunch break the game started 90 minutes late due to sudden rain & damp outfield. Pakistan scores were 126/5 on Day 1 after the play was called off due to rain & bad light. Fawad Alam of Pakistan’s squad returned to test Cricket after 10 years could stay on field just for three balls. Alam was caught by Chris Woakes & Joe Root took a good review to send Alam back to the pavilion for a duck.
Earlier on Day 1, Pakistan won the toss & elected to do batting. James Anderson was the pick of the bowlers with two wickets.
