The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the nominations for the Women’s Cricketer of the Year across the ODI, T20I, and Test formats. With emerging and budding women cricketers across the globe expressing themselves on the international stage throughout the year, it will be interesting to find out the awards for 2022.
ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year nominees were also announced as we will witness a heated battle amongst the top athletes. South African pacer Shabnim Ismail, New Zealand batter Amelia Kerr, England all-rounder Nat Sciver and Australian batter Alyssa Healy bagged a place and earned a chance to win the prestigious award.

Shabnim Ismail:

Sciver has been consistent in her performance with the white ball and has amassed 833 runs and scaled 11 wickets across 17 ODI matches in 2022. She has scored a noteworthy five half-centuries and two centuries in the year.
Alyssa Healy:
Lastly, we have got star Australian batsman Alyssa Healy in the nominees. Healy has been one of the most splendid performers for Australia and has always smashed stunning knocks in crucial times to take her side through. She is also a marvelous contender to win the award.
The award ceremony will likely take place in the third week of January.
