ICC Women’s Player Rankings: Stafanie Taylor replaces Mithali to regain top spot in the list

West Indies Captain Stafanie Taylor on Tuesday regained the top spot in the batting, bowling as well as all-rounders list of the ICC Women’s ODI Player Rankings. Taylor grabbed the first spot on the list after displaying a stunning performance in the first ODI that helped West Indies to win the match against Pakistan by five wickets.

Taylor’s Player of the Match performance of 3 for 29 runs followed by an unbeaten 105 helped Stafanie to top all the three lists of the ICC Women’s ODI Player Rankings. She moved up by four places to replace India Captain Mithali Raj from the top spot in the ICC Women’s ODI batter’s Rankings list. She further gained three places to reach 16th position in the bowler’s list & moved up by two places to grab the top spot by replacing Ellyse Perry in the ICC Women’s all-rounder’s Rankings list.

As per the latest weekly update which considers performances of the first two ODIs of the West Indies-Pakistan series, witnessed all-rounder Deandra Dottin reenter the rankings list. Dottin occupies the 28th position among the batters list & the 47th position among the all-rounder’s list. Kyshona Knight moved up by seven places to reach 53rd position among batters list, while spinner Anisa Mohammed moved up by two places to 26th position & Shamilia moved up by four places to occupy 39th position in the ICC bowler’s rankings list.

For Pakistan, spinner Nida dar has moved up by three places to reach 29th position while pacers Diana Baig gained one place to reach 32nd position. Ayesha Zafar has re-entered the batting rankings list to occupy 83rd position after scoring 46 & four in the two matches. Opener Muneeba Ali moved up by 47 places to reach 88th position on the batter’s list after scoring 36 & 37.

In the ICC Women’s T20I Player Rankings calculated after the first two matches of the ongoing England-India series, Natalie Sciver of England has moved up by two places to reach the ninth position in the batters list after registering a knock of 55 runs. While Deepti Sharma moved up by two places to reach 37th position in the all-rounder’s rankings list.

In the bowler’s list, Poonam Yadav moved up by five places to reach the seventh spot while Shikha Pandey moved up by eight places to reach the 27th position. These two players of the Indian women’s team are gainers in the ICC Women’s T20I Player Rankings list while England’s Freya Davis gained two spots to reach 64th position in the Rankings list.
