ICC Women’s ODI Rankings: Tammy Beaumont breaks into top 10 in the latest Update

England’s Opener Tammy Beaumont made a remarkable move in the latest Rankings Update. She moved up by three places & enters into the top 10 list in the ICC Women’s ODI Rankings for batters on the back of her 107-ball 119 runs knock scored in the third ODI against South Africa. She is now occupying the eighth spot in the batters rankings, ahead of Chamari Athapaththu, Smriti Mandhana, and Ellyse Perry.

Beaumont’s teammates Danni Wyatt & Emma Lamb too made positive gains in the Latest Weekly Rankings Update. Wyatt moved up by three places to occupy 24th position after scoring 33 runs in her last fixture while Lamb moves up by 35 places to occupy 66th position with her match power-pack knocks of 67 & 65 in her last two fixtures. Meanwhile, Sophia Dunkley moved up by eight places to occupy the 29th position on the batters list.

In the ICC Women’s ODI Rankings for bowlers, Sophie Ecclestone continues to occupy the top position in the batters rankings list. The other gainer in the Rankings list is England’s spinner Charlie Dean who has advanced by six places to grab a career-best 24th position, thanks to her career-best seven wickets haul in her last two matches. South African players too were the beneficiaries in the latest Rankings update despite losing the series by 3-0.

Marizanne Kapp moves up by six places to grab 18th position among batters Rankings after producing glemaing knocks of 73 & 62. In the all-rounder Rankings List too she made positive gains by moving up to the third position while the all-rounder’s list is still led by Natalie Sciver with Australia’s Ellyse Perry occupying second place.

Chloe Tryon moved up by two places to reach 20th position among batters rankings & 10 places up to 48th position on bowlers rankings while Nadine De Klerk has moved down from 59to 52 in the bowlers’ list.

ICC T20I Rankings:

In the ICC Women’s T20I Rankings which has taken into consideration the performances of Irelands’ first two matches of the tri-series against Australia & Pakistan, Rebecca Stokell has moved up by seven places to 88th after scoring 22 against Australia. While among the bowlers’ list, Australian bowlers Nicola Carey (up by three places to 52nd) & Ashleigh Gardner (moved up by three places to 57th) made noteworthy gains. Darcie Brown & Alana Kings too moved up to acquire the 161st position in ICC Women’s ODI Rankings for bowlers.
