Lengthier IPL Window on cards from Next Year!

The BCCI is also considering a longer window for IPL 2023, as well as a window for Women’s IPL. While the BCCI has already initiated discussions with other boards about the WIPL window, the BCCI is seeking to get cooperation from the ECB Board for a lengthier IPL 2023 window.

“It (a longer window for IPL) will be discussed, but it will not be the only one. The ECB has been a strong supporter of the BCCI, particularly in the Women’s IPL and IPL. We’ll have much to talk about, too “InsideSport spoke with a BCCI official.

Many in the BCCI have floated the concept of a lengthier IPL in 2023 and held discussions with the ICC officials during the IPL 2022, it expects a lot of opposition from other cricketing boards.
