“They are a team that is highly talented. Last year they have played spectacular cricket & have started the IPL 2021 again in a good form. I think they all were particularly close matches last year. We have played some of the best matches against Delhi capitals. They certainly deserved a place in the final & have started this season strongly once again. We take a lot of confidence we know we are a team that matches strongly against them. We know the wicket is tricky but we have got the experience to play on it. hopefully, that will hold us in a good position”, said Bond in a video posted on the Official Twitter handle of Mumbai Indians.

Delhi & Mumbai Indians had played the final of the IPL 2020 & it was Rohit Sharma’s side that emerged victorious. In all the four matches being played between Mumbai Indians & Delhi Capitals, MI managed to outclass Delhi Capitals.

“We are always well planned & we have attacked their players in different ways & we will do the same. In the last couple of games, most of the teams got a good start against us. Our spinners have done a brilliant job in the middle order Teams are scoring 20-25 runs of the last five overs which is a real achievement for our bowlers. Our bowlers are clear about what they want to do”, said Shane Bond.

In the ongoing IPL season, Delhi capitals have last defeated Punjab kings while Mumbai Indians had defeated SunRisers Hyderabad in their previous match. Delhi Capitals till now have played all their three matches at the Wankhede Stadium & the team would now play their next two matches at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
