Kevin Pieterson posted the screenshot of Anushka’s comment with a funny caption. He wrote, “When the BOSS said that time was up, time was up! @anushkasharma @virat.kohli. I hope you all enjoyed our live chat? Just two cricketers hanging out…”, wrote the England star cricketer.
Pieterson & Kohli started their live chat by discussing the current situation during the lockdown due to COVID-19 Pandemic. “We tried and were able to visit a farm just before the lockdown. Here there is some space but it is heartbreaking to see many people suffering during the lockdown”, Kohli said.
“We have never stayed in one place for such a long duration. It’s weird and it’s not good to see such a situation as an opportunity to spend time together. It is what it is. We are staying cautious and positive. If this was not the situation then I would have been hanging out with you at Chinnaswamy Stadium”, Kohli added.
Pieterson asked Virat Kohli about the whereabouts of his nickname ‘Chiku’. He asked the Indian Captain that where he got his nickname Chiku from to which Kohli replied, “I got this nickname from a coach in the Ranji Trophy. I used to have big cheeks and in 2007 I thought I was losing hair so I got my hair cropped and my cheeks and ears stood out. So he gave me the name of a cartoon character. The rabbit in the comic book Champak has the name Chiku.
He also revealed that MS. Dhoni has made his nickname famous by shooting it out all the time from behind the stumps. Kohli also revealed that the lowest point in his career was in 2014 during the England tour.
In the end, Kohli wrapped up by answering some questions from the fans on the social media and picked Cristiano Ronaldo over Lionel Messi because of work ethic and drive.
The lively casual chat between the two leading cricketers of the world is a surprise for their fans and has surely entertained them to the fullest!
