India’s star pacer Jasprit Bumrah who has been out of action since September 2022 due to a back injury is recovering & preparing to return back to International Cricket. Jasprit sustained an injury before the beginning of the T20 World Cup 2022 & since then has been ruled out of action. He was rested from both South Africa T20Is & marquee T20 World Cup & was sent to NCA for rehabilitation. However, it seems like things are improving for Bumrah as recently the ace pacer has shared a video of his training session on his official Twitter handle.
In the shared video, Bumrah was seen doing some running drills & the video was captioned as, “Never easy but always worth it.”

Since the last few months things are not good for Jasprit Bumrah as due to his gruesome injury he has to miss T20 World Cup 2022. Not only this but also he has been rested from India’s tour of New Zealand & is also excluded from India’s series against Bangladesh starting early in December. Bumrah’s rehabilitation is still in its early stage & he will still need a couple of more months to recover & get back to the field.
Team India missed Bumrah’s services in T20 World Cup 2022 & his unavailability was cited as one of the primary reasons for the failure of India’s bowling attack in the crucial qualifier clash against England. However, bCCI doesn’t want to take any risk with Bumrah’s fitness & is taking some cautious steps to ensure that the player gets completely fit for the upcoming ODI World Cup in 2023.
The board & management doesn’t want to rush his recovery & want him to return back on the field only after recovering fully from his troublesome back injury. Looking at Bumrah’s effort to make a comeback & BCCI’s planned steps it seems like the day when Bumrah will hit the field for the Indian team is not so far.
