Kolkata Knight Players List 2023: KKR has made some smart & calculative moves in the recently concluded IPL 2023 auction. KKR have strengthened their squad by including N Jagadeesan (90 lakhs) in their squad. Domestic cricket’s stalwart wicket-keeper Jagadeesan was a part of CSK in the IPL 2022. However, CSK didn’t feel the need of retaining him for IPL 2023 & KKR grabbed this opportunity by adding Jagadeesan to their line-up.
Jagadeesan has done well in TNPL & has set a world record for the highest List A score by scoring 277 runs in one of his Ranji Trophy fixtures. And KKR was the gainer in this deal as they could grab Jagadeesan’s services for just 90 lakhs. Jagadeesan’s onboarding will fulfill KKR’s drought for a wicketkeeper. N Jagadeesan will now fulfill the responsibilities of a wicket-keeper adding more stability to KKR’s squad.
KKR got back the services of Bangladesh’s most wanted all-rounder Shakib-Al-Hasan & also made some valuable additions by buying the services of David Wiese & Litton Das. The other players who were brought by KKR were Vaibhav Arora, Kulwant Khejroliya & Suyash Sharma.
