After registering 59 Runs Win, Delhi Capitals goes on top of the Points Table!


Marcus Stoinis scored second half-century of the IPL season along with an inspiring bowling performance from Rabada & Axar Patel resulted in a stupendous victory of Delhi Capitals against RCB by 59 runs in Dubai on Monday to go to the top of the IPL 2020 points table by scoring eight points from five matches.

RCB continues to stay at third spot & is tied on six points with Mumbai Indians who themselves will have to gain the top spot when they will face Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday. Kasigo Rabada reclaimed the Purple Cap with his four wicket haul, which included key wicket of RCB Captain Kohli. Rabada has 12 wickets & is four wickets ahead of Chahal who went without a single wicket on Monday & the pace duo of Trent Boult & Mohammed Shami who have eight wickets in his bag. Anrich Nortje has picked two wickets against RCB & now has seven wickets in his bag.

Prithvi Shaw with his fast forward 42 runs moved up on fifth position in the run charts which is led by KXIP captain KL Rahul who has 302 runs registered on his name. CSK’s FAF Du Plessis is behind Rahul with 282 runs registered on his name while Rahul’s Opener batsman Mayank is third with 272 runs.

Delhi Capitals will next face Rajasthan Royals on Friday while RCB will play against CSK on Saturday when they will look to get back to winning ways by defeating CSK who has moved up from bottom of the table after defeating KXIP by a mammoth of 10 wickets held on Sunday.
