Defending Champions of the CPL 2021, Trinbago Knight Riders finished the league stage at the top by registering a win over the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots in the final game of their league stage. Trinbago has bagged six victories from 10 matches thereby scoring 12 points to top the CPL 2021 Points Table.
Being handed an average total of 148 runs, Trinbago got over the target with four wickets to spare. They didn’t have a good start to their chase as the Trinbago Knight Riders were reduced to 52/3 in nine overs. However Captain Kieron Pollard stepped up & put up a stunning 22 ball- 51 runs to take his team over the line in the final league game of the CPL 2021.

Roston Chase put up a blistering half century to contribute in Kings huge total. But the Kings failed to defend their total as the unbeaten half centuries from Kyle Mayer’s and Glenn Phillips took the Barbados Royals comfortably over the line.
With Jamaica Tallawahs losing their final league game against Guyana Amazon Warriors, Saint Lucia Kings finished fourth on the Points table with 10 points in their kitty. Trinbago Knight Riders will eye to retain their CPL trophy by winning the CPL 2021 title. Proudly bagging four titles in their kitty, Pollard & Co will aim to add fifth title in their kitty by winning the semi-finals & thereby final of CPL 2021.
Meanwhile Saint Lucia Kings lost their finals to TKR last season they will aim to move one step ahead in the current CPL season by making it to the final & thereby winning it. As two best teams will come into a face-off in a much crucial semi-final clash a thrilling contest can be on cards.
