Harbhajan Singh, India & CSK’s veteran Off-Spinner became the second player of the CSK squad after Suresh Raina to pull out of the IPL 2020. Harbhajan confirmed his decision to the CSK management on Friday.
Harbhajan took to twitter to reveal that he will not become a part of 13 edition of the IPL due to certain personal reasons. The off-spinner said that these are difficult times as coronavirus cases are rising rapidly in the country & has urged his fans to give him some privacy as he wants to spend time with his family.
“Dear Friends I will not be playing IPL this year due to personal reasons. These are difficult times and I would expect some privacy as I spend time with my family. @ChennaiIPL CSK management has been extremely supportive and I wish them a great IPL Stay safe and Jai Hind,” Harbhajan tweeted.
The 13th edition of the IPL will commence from 19th September in the UAE. CSK landed in the UAE on August 21 along with other franchise such as Mumbai Indians & RCB. The CSK squad also had a brief training camp in Chennai before leaving for the UAE.
