RCB’s Captain Virat Kohli has joined RCB’s bio-bubble in Chennai ahead of the IPL 2021. RCB provides a treat to ‘Virat Fans’ by sharing Virat Kohli’s picture on Twitter. By tweeting Virat’s picture RCB wrote, “If you thought we were done breaking the internet for the day, think again! Captain Virat Kohli has arrived in Chennai”.
Earlier on Thursday, AB De Villiers has also joined RCB’s bio-bubble. RCB posted a picture of De Villiers on Twitter & captioned the post as, “Breaking the Internet. AB De Villiers has landed! AB de Villiers has joined the RCB Bubble in Chennai”.Virat & AB De Villiers both will serve the mandatory seven days quarantine before hitting the nets.
As per the BCCI’s SOPs for the IPL 2021, all players except the India-England series, support staff & management entering the bio-bubble has to quarantine for seven days in their hotel rooms. Every single person will be tested for COVID-19 during the quarantine period & after returning negative for COVID-19, the players can come out of their rooms & commence their training sessions.
RCB will start their campaign against Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2021 opener match on April 9 in Chennai.
