Mamata Banerjee wishes KKR ahead of their Clash against Mumbai Indians!

KKR will start their IPL 2020 campaign today as they will face Mumbai Indians at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee took to twitter to extend her wishes ahead of KKR’s opener match against Mumbai Indians. ‘Korbo, Lorbo, Jeetbo’ has already been India’s spirit in 2020, fighting crises without breaking a sweat. Another set of champions hit the field today, trying to bring joy to every home. My best wishes to @KKRiders & dearest @iamsrk as they begin their IPL campaign.#KKRHaiTaiyaar,” Mamata Banerjee tweeted.

KKR have some of the best T20Cricketers in their squad like Andre Russell & Sunil Narine but still KKR failed to qualify for the play-offs in last season of IPL. KKR has spent a lot of money to strengthen their bowling department by bringing in one of the world’s best bowler Pat Cummings in their team. They bought Cummings in a whopping 15.5 crores.

For Mumbai Indians a defeat in the IPL’s Opener match against CSK had been a shock for MI & they might be thinking of balancing their loss by winning the match against KKR. The Rohit Sharma led KKR has a poor record in UAE where they had lost almost six matches. On the other hand today’s match will be a golden opportunity for KKR to improve their records against Mumbai Indians. KKR have two titles registered on their name but when it comes to facing Mumbai Indians KKR have won just six games out of 25 in the IPL.
