MI vs DC Live Score: Finally, the prayers of RCB fans & RCB team itself got fulfilled today as the table lenders, MI beat ferocious Delhi Capitals by eight wickets to deny them a playoff spot. Rishabh-Powell’s blistering knocks guided DC to a decent 159 runs Total

However, soon their blooming stand was broken with Rishabh Pant walking back to the pavilion for 39 off 33 balls after smashing four boundaries & a six, reducing DC to 125-5. Bumrah back into the attack handed Mumbai Indians a major breakthrough by dismissing Rovman Powell in the 19th over with DC’s score read as 143-6. Rovman Powell finished on 43 off 34 balls with one boundary and four sixes. Axar Patel gave finishing touches to Delhi Capitals innings & helped them to end at 159 for 7 in the allotted 20 overs.
For Mumbai Indians, Jasprit Bumrah starred with the ball by scalping three wickets for 25 runs. He was well-supported with the ball by Ramandeep Singh who scalped two wickets for 29 runs.
MI batters showed great intent to chase the target in 19 overs
In reply, Mumbai Indians had a slow start as they lost their Captain Rohit Sharma in the sixth over however Ishan Kishan on the other end headed strong with the bat. It was Ishan Kishan & Dewald Brevis who anchored Mumbai Indians innings by stitching a well-composed stand of 51 runs for the second wicket.
However, in the 12th over settled Ishan departed off Kuldeep Yadav’s delivery after scoring 48 runs followed by Dewald Brevis who was sent packing in the 15 over off Shardul Thakur’s delivery. Brevis was dismissed after scoring 37 runs with the score reading 95 for three. The chase seemed a bit difficult for Mumbai Indians, however, Tilak Verma along with Tim David resurrected MI’s innings.
Tim David’s carnage of 34 runs off 11 balls with two boundaries and four sixes took away the game from Delhi Capitals. However, David was dismissed on the 18th over followed by Tilak Verma who was sent back to the hut in the 19th over for 21 runs. However, MI bowlers didn’t lose hope & held their nerves to chase the target in 19.1 overs to win the clash by five wickets. For Delhi Capitals Anrich Nortje starred with the ball by scalping 2 wickets for 37 runs while Shardul Thakur supported him well by fetching 2 wickets for 32 runs.
