MI vs KKR Live Score: Suryakumar Yadav ruled out of the remaining season due to a Muscle Strain

MI vs KKR Live Score: Mumbai Indians backbone Suryakumar Yadav has been ruled out of the remaining IPL 2022 after sustaining a muscle strain on his left forearm. Suryakumar sustained an injury during their previous clash against Gujarat Titans on May 6 which they won by five runs to make a comeback in the tournament.

Suryakumar has been advised rest by the BCCI medical team the Mumbai Indians said in their official statement ahead of their clash against KKR on Monday evening.

“Suryakumar Yadav has sustained a muscle strain on the left forearm and has been ruled out for the season. He has been advised rest, in consultation with the BCCI medical team,” read a statement from MI.

Suryakumar had already missed the Mumbai Indians opening match against Delhi capitals owing to his hairline thumb fracture which he sustained during India’s T20I series against West Indies. Thus he entered the IPL bio-bubble late after completing his rehabilitation at the NCA in Bengaluru.

Suryakumar Yadav has scored 303 runs from eight innings including three fifties. Suryakumar was the major positive for Mumbai Indians who had witnessed a horrendous start to their IPL 2022 campaign after losing eight matches in a row. However, they finally returned to winning terms after registering their first win of the season by outclassing RR & then continued their winning spree by defeating GT in their previous clash.

Now after registering two consecutive wins MI would aim to win their remaining clashes to end the IPL 2022 on a decent note. MI are slated to play four more games in the league phase against KKR, Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Delhi Capitals. Those who didn’t know let us tell you MI are already out of the Playoffs contention after losing eight out of 10 matches.
