Pakistan’s Men’s National Cricket team will tour Bangladesh for three T20Is & two tests after the conclusion of the T20 World Cup 2021. The series will commence in November- December window in Dhaka Bangladesh. The two test matches will be part of the WTC 2021-2023 cycle.
“The national team tour is a part of the Future Tours Programme & will commence with the T20I series, which will be staged at Dhaka’s Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on November 19. The second & third t20I will be played on November 20 & 22”, the PCB said in its statement
“The date of the national teams departure will be announced in due course”, the statement added.
The series will start with the T20Is at the Sher-e-Bangla stadium in Dhaka with the T20I fixtures to be played on November 19, 20 & 22. Both teams will then head to Chittogram to play their first test from November 26. Both Bangladesh & Pakistan will lock horns with each other in longest format of cricket since May 15 when Pakistan won the two match test series by winning the final test by a mammoth 368 runs. Then they will go back to Dhaka for the second test which will begin form December 4.
The test series will be Bangladesh first in the WTC 2021-2023 cycle.on the other hand Pakistan have already kick-started their campaign by registering one win & one defeat in West Indies. They will head into the series with the confidence of 10 wins out of 11 tests they have played in Bangladesh.
