Pat Cummins feels that he has improved a lot as the Tournament Progressed Ahead!

Pat Cummins four wickets stint in yesterday’s clash helped KKR to defeat RR but the pacer said that he didn’t expected to get wickets in a row in the Power-Play.

Chasing the target of 192 runs, RR scored 19 runs off the first over but soon lost Robin Uthappa. In the third over of the innings, Cummins made a phenomenal comeback & sent Ben Stokes back to the pavilion after a spectacular catch form Dinesh Karthik & five balls later RR captain Smith was dismissed at just 4 runs reducing RR to just 32/3. Just a few minutes later, Cummins dismissed Parag & as a result RR were left lagging behind at 37/5.

“A lot goes through your mind. First few balls weren’t great. As long as you go back to bowling your best balls, it’s alright. Top of off is always that area for me, there was a bit early in there with the new ball,” Cummins told the host broadcasters Star Sports at the post-match presentation.

“So, I was trying to get as many in there as I can. Not really, don’t think I expected to get all wickets like that. Some days you bowl well and don’t get luck, some days you get a bit of luck as well,” he added.

Cummins further revealed that he had lot of pressure on him in the start of the tournament & gained confidence as the IPL progressed further. “Today, everything fell into place. I guess early on in the season, I put a lot of pressure on myself. As the tournament has gone on, I’ve got better and better. You’re always learning,” said the Australian pacer.

With this win KKR successfully secured the fourth spot on the IPL 2020 Points Table with 14 points from 14 matches. On the other hand, RR are now out of the playoffs contention after losing yesterday’s match against KKR.
