Prithvi Shaw Impresses Tendulkar by hitting a Spectacular Shot!

Delhi Capitals batsman Prithvi Shaw impressed former Indian Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar by hitting an “incredible shot” during his team’s win against RCB at Dubai International Stadium on Monday.

After being asked to bat first by RCB captain Virat Kohli, Delhi Capitals Openers Shaw & Shikhar Dhawan provided a spectacular start for their team. In the third over of the match Shaw smashed Saini’s bowl & hit a gigantic six over extra cover. Commenting on that perfect shot, Tendulkar termed it as “incredible shot”. While in the same over before the six, Kohli fielded the ball at short cover & instinctively was about to apply saliva on the ball, made an eye-contact with an umpire & grinned raising his arm to apologize.

Applying saliva on ball is prohibited under new rules of the ICC as a precautionary measure against Coronavirus. “What an incredible shot by @PrithviShaw there! A million dollar reaction by @imVkohli after almost applying saliva on the ball. Sometimes instincts takeover!” Tendulkar tweeted.

Prithvi Shaw played a superlative knock of 42 runs off 23 balls including two sixes & five fours. Sadly Shaw was caught by Mohammed Siraj in the seventh over registering a 59 runs defeat for his side.
