Yuvraj Singh Issued Clarification Over Yuzvendra Chahal’s Remark!


Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh gave his clarification on a comment that involved Yuzvendra Chahal which didn’t went well with people on social media.

Yuvraj Singh issued a clarification on Friday after facing severe criticism over social media over the comment he made for the spinner Yuvendra Chahal. Yuvraj Sing & current vice-captain of the India ODI & T20Is teams had made fun of Chahal’s antics on social media platforms during an Instagram live chat last month. But one of the words Yuvraj used to refer Chahal didn’t go well with people & a social media backlash against Yuvraj Singh has started. To put all the controversies on rest, Yuvraj posted a statement on his official twitter handle & expressed his sincere regret through words.

“This is to clarify that I have never believed in any kind of disparity, be it on the basis of caste, color, creed or gender. I have given and continue to spend my life for the welfare of people. I believe in the dignity of life and respect each individual without exception,” read the statement.

“I understand that while I was having a conversation with my friends, I was misunderstood, which was unwarranted. However, as a responsible Indian I want to say that if I have unintentionally hurt anybody’s sentiments or feelings, I would like to express regret for the same. My love for India and all its people is eternal,” the statement added.

Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh had announced his retirement from International Cricket in Mumbai in June 2019. The 37-year-old played a vital role in India winning the World Cup In 2011 & he also helped team India to lift the inaugural T20 World Cup trophy.
