KKR were reeling at 96-5 after 12 overs & then came KKR’s MVP of this season Andre Russell on the crease who turned the entire game in the favor of KKR. He first joined hands with Sam Billings & stitched a valuable 65-run stand for the sixth wicket to resurrect KKR’s innings & take them over 150 runs mark.

He was not less than a run-machine for KKR who produced maximums & boundaries to steady their innings. Soon, KKR suffered a setback in face of Billings walking back to the pavilion for 34 in 29 balls off Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the 19th over. However, Andre Russell on the other hand didn’t give up. He took the matter into his hands & smashed three huge sixes in the final over off Washington Sundar’s delivery, collecting 20 runs & guiding KKR from 157 in the 19th over to 177 at the end of the 20th over.
