MS Dhoni has returned back to pitch & has started his cricket training with full enthusiasm to make a rocking comeback with the IPL 2020 as he is a crucial part of the CSK’s franchise.
The IPL 2020 is starting from September 19 in UAE & the Finals are scheduled on 10th November. Just a day after Suresh Raina said that Dhoni’s helicopters shots will be seen flying in the upcoming IPL season the other day MS Dhoni resumed the training in full zest.
According to the reports, Dhoni has hit the ground running & started doing his bit to prepare for the IPL 2020. Due to the ongoing lockdown & social distancing rules not many bowlers were available in Ranchi at the moment so Dhoni has faced bowling machines for the first time.
A Jharkhand State Cricket Association Officer told the New Indian Express, “Dhoni visited the JSCA International Stadium Complex last week. He practiced at the indoor facility using bowling machine. He did batting practice for two days over the weekend, but has not returned since.” I honestly don’t know what his plans are or whether he will come back for training. We only know he has visited the facility for practice”.
As per the reports Dhoni used to train regularly at the facility for the IPL before the nationwide lockdown was imposed. The CSK team will gather in Chennai on August 20 & the players will take off for UAE. Dhoni has very less time left to train himself in the facility at his home ground in Ranchi. Earlier this year Dhoni was also a part of the scheduled month-long training camp, which did not last long because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
