New Zealand tour of Pakistan 2022-23: New Zealand is all set to tour Pakistan for a fantastic two-match Test & ODI series beginning later this month. Earlier last year, Ben Stokes led the England team to pull out of the Pakistan tour due to security concerns. And as compensation, New Zealand will tour Pakistan for multi-format series.
The tour will kickstart with a two-match Test series in Karachi which will be played under the leadership of veteran pacer Tim Southee after Kane Williamson stepped down from his role earlier in December. The first Test will begin on 26th December while the second Test will commence in Multan on January 3.
New Zealand would aim to make this series memorable for them by winning it on the grounds of Pakistan. On the other hand, Pakistan would aim to bounce back after suffering a humiliating defeat against England which has stunned Pakistan by registering a historic white-wash in the Test series played on the grounds of Pakistan. They would try to put in their every effort & emerge victorious in the home series against New Zealand after suffering a defeat in the Test Series.
