RR has registered a crucial win against KKR in their final match of the Mumbai leg at the Wankhede Stadium. The victory put RR in the level of Mumbai Indians on the Points Table. RR didn’t have an impressive start to the IPL 2021 this year. But they have impressed their fans with stupendous bowling performances. The pick of bowlers for RR is pacer Jaydev Unadkat who had a dominating start to the campaign.
“Yes, I feel I have a good start. I have hand clarity of mind & clarity of my plans for this season. Something which has worked for me so far. It is only a couple of matches for me & is still early days, something I am looking to build on as we move forward”, said Jaydev Unadkat is an Official Rajasthan Royals Release.
Speaking on the RR start’s to this year’s IPL season, Unadkat felt that the ‘Pink Army’ have so far played well. And thus they will be in a good phase to get the winning momentum back on their side. “It has been a decent start to the IPL 2021 so far. The first game was a narrow defeat, the second match was a good teamwork display & a wonderful victory for us. We did lose our way for a couple of matches in between but now we are back to winning ways, we would surely like to continue this & build on this run”, said RR’ star pacer Jaydev Unadkat
“I personally feel that just a couple of more victories on the row & we will get the right momentum back for us. We haven’t had that sort of a run yet but I feel it’s the right time for us to get back that momentum”, Unadkat added.
The next match of RR will be outside Mumbai & the RR squad will play outside Mumbai for the first time in this season. RR will have to adapt & acclimate to a change in conditions in Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium. “It will be a good pitch at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. I guess the pitches will be flatter especially in the first few matches here”, said the pacer.
The RR have had some close matches & crucial wins registered against Mumbai Indians in the past clashed & the ‘Pink army’ would be hoping to notch another victory over Mumbai Indians in Delhi. Rajasthan Royals will face Mumbai Indians in their next clash on Thursday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
