CSK squad is free to start training from Friday in the UAE after all of its members tested negative for coronavirus except two who had tested positive for coronavirus in the follow-up test for coronavirus on Thursday.
CSK told its media sources that the team will now start the training for the 13th edition of the IPL from Friday. The whole CSK squad underwent COVID-19 test on Thursday except two players who tested positive in last week. The two infected CSK players will undergo a COVID-19 test after completing a 14 days Quarantine period.
All the teams have started their training sessions for the 13th edition of the IPL except the CSK squad as 13 members of the CSK squad tested positive for coronavirus last week. The CSK squad had arrived in the UAE along with defending champions Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore on August 21.
It seems like CSK’s testing times is not going to end soon as after its members tested positive for coronavirus one of its best player Suresh Raina returned back to India due to certain personal reasons. However in his recent interview Suresh Raina said that he might return to UAE & the fans may get a chance to witness him in the IPL 2020.
The IPL 2020 is all set to kick start from 19th September & the Finals is on 10th of November & will be played across three venues in the UAE i.e. Sharjah, Dubai & Abu Dhabi.
