Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman has dedicated a special song ‘Chale Chalo’ from the movie Lagaan to CSK Captain MS Dhoni. The song motivates the players to play together. AR Rahman also has a special dedication for CSK all-rounder Suresh Raina. AR Rahman has dedicated the song ‘Mangta hai kya’ from the superhit movie Rangeela to CSK star player Suresh Raina.
Speaking on Star Sports show Cricket Live, Rahman dedicated these special songs to CSK star players Dhoni & Suresh Raina. “I would like to dedicate the song Chale Chalo’ from the movie Lagaan to MS Dhoni as it motivates people to play cricket together. And for Suresh Raina, I would like to dedicate the song ‘Mangta Hai kya’ because whenever I went to Bangalore, they were listening to a lot of songs from the movie Rangeela”.
Earlier today, Gautam Gambhir said that former India Captain should bat at number four or five and below that for his team CSK. Dhoni mostly comes to bat at No 7. And in their first match against Delhi Capitals, he failed to score & got out for a two-ball duck. CSK lost the match despite setting up a Mammoth total of 189 runs.
Speaking on Star Sports Cricket Live Show, Gautam Gambhir said, “MS Dhoni should be batting at the higher-order. That’s what matters because ultimately people should start leading from the front. We always keep on highlighting the fact that a leader should always lead from the forefront. And you can’t be leading when you are batting at No 7. And yes there are issues in their bowling lineup”.
Gambhir further said that Dhoni is not as attacking as previously he used to be. And it is better for him to bat in the top order & keep the focus on the ball. “Plus he is not the MS Dhoni which he used to be four or five years back. Where he could just come in & start taking on the bowlers from the word go. For me, I think it’s’ high time that Dhoni bats at no 4 or 5 but nothing below that”, Gambhir said while speaking at Star Sports Network. CSK will next face Rajasthan Royals in their second match at the Wankhede Stadium on Monday.
