Any test series with India is always an anticipated- clash but we are ready to face India’s bowling attack said Australian test match skipper Tim Paine.

Australia’s test Captain Tim Paine said that when they play against India in test matches it is always an anticipated clash due to the quality of cricket both the team’s plays and further he compared the competition to the hallowed Ashes series between Australia and England. India won their test match series in the year 2018-2019. But Paine was clear that the Australia team is not thinking about revenge. Paine said to media that, “India and Australia as rivals are just like the Ashes that we all look forward to”.

“I believe that Australia is a different team and India is also different in its sense but its two quality teams purely because of the quality of cricket both the teams play not for the things happened before”, he said.  India is scheduled to play a four-match test series in Australia later this year in the month of December. However this time Australia will see the power-pack comeback of Steve Smith and David Warner who were serving a ban tenure for their alleged involvement in the sandpaper gate scandal in the year 2018 when the two teams met each other for the last time.

Time Paine said with the comeback of the two best batsmen of the Australian team as well as Marnus Labuschagne’s improvement since the Ashes last summer, Australia will be fully prepared to face India’s bowling attack headed by ace bowler Jasprit Bumrah.

“I think we can generate 15,000 test runs with Steve Smith & David warner alone, Marnus Labuschagne’s powerpack performance is an add on with Marnus on the list of top three or four batsmen in the world himself. This time we will definitely put the number of runs into scoreboard which we were unable to score at the last time”, Paine said.

“We know how outstanding India’s Bowling is and last time we weren’t so good, if we were honest against that attack we would have made it to the title. But this time I think we will be a different kettle of fish. We have got three of the best batsmen in the world who are among the top six currently”, he added.
