Babar Azam slams Ex-Pakistan Bowler for Harsh Remark on his English!

Pakistan Star batsman Babar Azam is recently appointed as the Captain of the shortest format of the game by the PCB which doesn’t go well with Former Pakistan Cricketer Tanvir Ahmed. Earlier he came up with a weird to do list for Babar Azam in order to become a complete captain. Now in reply to the harsh comments of the ex-cricketer, the current Pakistan Captain Babar Azam is here with a befitting reply for Tanvir who advised Babar to improve his English speaking skills among other things, to become a complete captain.

Responding to Tanvir’s harsh comments Babar Azam said, “I play cricket. I am not a gora, who is bound to know English completely. Yes, I am learning the language simultaneously but it is an ongoing process and one needs time to get better at it,” Azam was heard saying in a video that is recently tweeted by a Pakistani Journalist, Abdul Gaffar.

Tanvir Ahmed who has not so promising cricket career had faced the wrath of Pakistani fans after he came up with a bizarre list of things for Pakistan’s limited-overs captain to work on.

India Captain Virat Kohli & Pakistan Star batsman Babar Azam are the only two players to score an average of above 50 among players that have played over 30 T20Is, which has often lead to comparisons between the two-star cricketers.

The 25-year-old batsman has also presented his view on what he feels about his constant comparison with Indian Skipper Virat Kohli.

“First of all, the comparison which is being made, it’ll be better if it doesn’t happen. He (Virat Kohli) is a different type of player, and I am a different type of player. I always try to help my team win with my performances,” Babar said.

Babar Azam has been one of the best performers across the formats in recent times. The star batsman has played 74 ODIs for Pakistan in which he scored whopping 3,359 runs at an average of 54.17 with 11 centuries & 15 half-centuries hailed on his name. He has also made 38 appearances for Pakistan in T20Is, scoring 1,471 runs at an average of 50.72.
