India’s Bhuvneshwar Kumar on Tuesday won the ICC Men’s Player of the Month Award for displaying stupendous performance in the limited-overs series against England in the month of March.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar scalped six wickets at an economy rate of 4.65 in three ODIs against England. Whereas Bhuvneshwar scalped four wickets in five T20Is against England at an economy rate of 6.38. His brilliant performances in the limited-overs series helped him to emerge as a star performer in the month of March.
After receiving the award Bhuvneshwar said, “After a long & painful gap I was very happy to play for India again. I used the spare time to work on my fitness & skill. And I am happy to make a comeback by scalping wickets for team India”.

South Africa Women’s team cricketer, Lizelle Lee received the ICC Women’s Player of the Month Award for March. Lizelle played four ODIs against India in which she scored one century & two half-centuries to move on top of the Women’s ODI batting Rankings. And thus awarded with the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for March.
After receiving the prestigious award Lizelle Lee said, “I am extremely happy & honoured to receive this prestigious award. Such accolades keep me motivated to continue to work more hard on my game. A big thank you to all my teammates for their sheer support as this would never be possible without their support”.
