Former Australia Spinner, Brad Hogg has said that Virat Kohli can break Sachin Tendulkar’s record of outstanding 100 International centuries. Brad Hogg said that the fitness levels are better now & cricketers play more cricket.
“Of course he can. Fitness levels today are a lot better when Sachin Tendulkar started. They get a lot of help with quality fitness trainers. They have also got a lot of physios and doctors on board. Any niggle that is starting to happen people can get on top of it straight away,” Hogg said in a video posted on his official YouTube channel. “Therefore players miss fewer games and of course there is a lot more cricket being played these days. So yes, he can break that record,” he added.
The comparisons between Kohli & Sachin always keep growing & many cricketers have chosen the current Indian Captain to break the records set by Tendulkar. Sachin Tendulkar has written his name in golden words after scoring 100 International centuries while Kohli has scored 70 International centuries till now across all formats.
At present Kohli enjoys top rank in ICC’s ODI rankings & second place in Test Rankings. Kohli till now has played 86 Tests, scoring 7,240 runs with 27 centuries at an average of 53.62 & has played about 248 matches with 43 centuries in ODIs.
