Legendary Batsman Sachin Tendulkar who was admitted to the hospital after contracting COVID-19 returned home on Thursday. He got discharged from the hospital & is currently resting at home. He also informed his fans that he will stay in isolation while continuing to recover.
“I have just come home from the hospital and will remain isolated while continuing to rest and recuperate. I would like to thank everyone for all the good wishes and prayers. Really appreciate it,” he wrote in a message on Twitter. “I remain grateful to all the medical staff who took such good care of me and have been working tirelessly for over a year in such difficult circumstances.”
Sachin Tendulkar had tested positive for COVID-19 on March 27 & was hospitalized on April 2. Sachin Tendulkar was a part of the India legends team in the Road Safety World Series before he tested positive for COVID-19. Three of his teammates also tested positive for COVID-19 i.e. Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan and S Badrinath.
On March 27, Tendulkar took to Twitter to announce that he had tested positive for COVID-19. He informed his fans that he is in quarantine at home. He also said that all other members at his house tested negative for COVID-19.
Further on April 2, Sachin said that he has been hospitalized “as a matter of abundant precaution under medical advice. Thank you for your wishes and prayers. As a matter of abundant precaution under medical advice, I have been hospitalized. I hope to be back home in a few days,” Sachin had tweeted.
