Just a day after several members of the CSK squad tested positive for COVID-19 all the 13 of them have returned positive test results in the follow-up COVID-19 test conducted on Friday.
On Thursday 13 members including two players had tested positive for COVID-19 extending CSK’s Quarantine period for another six days.
“Yes, all 13 members have tested negative for COVID-19. They will have to undergo another test on Thursday, September 3. We are likely to start training on Friday, September 4,” Viswanathan told PTI from Dubai where the team is based.
“Deepak and Ruturaj will complete their 14-day quarantine and then join training after two negative tests as per protocol.”
However CSK is awaiting a negative COVID-19 test report of the test which will be conducted on September 3 & then the players will be allowed to start their practice as early as possible.
