All-rounder Hardik Pandya boarded a flight to Chennai which is the venue for first two tests against England as the Indian team gears up for the home series against England.
Pandya is named in India’s Test squad after a long time after recovering from the injury. He took to Instagram to share a picture onboard a plan with his son Agastya who boarded a flight for the first time. In the lovely picture, Hardik’s son can be seen sitting on his father’s lap & smiling while looking at the camera. “My boy’s first flight,” Hardik captioned the picture on Instagram.
The post attracted several like & comments in no time with Natasa Stankovic posting several herat emojis on the picture. Aghanistan’s star spinner Rashid Khan was the first one to comment on hardik’s picture. Hardik haven’t played any test match for over a year with his last match being played in 2018 against England at Southampton.
Hardik Pandya was a part of the ODI & T20I series of the Australia tour in which he was one of the star performers for the team in both ODIs & T20Is. Hardik Pandya played as a specialist batsman in the series & left his mark as he finished as India’s leading run scorer in the three ODI series which Australia won by 2-1 scores. However in the T20I series Hardik’s outstanding knocks guided team India to win the series by 2-1 which helped him to earn the Player of the Series Award.
Hardik Pandya had undergone a lower back surgery towards the end of 2019 which kept him out of the home series against South Africa and Bangladesh & two match test series against New Zealand early in last year.
