ICC gives A Virtual Tour of Sheikh Zayed Stadium, the Venue for IPL’s Opening Match!


The IPL 2020 will start today with MI facing CSK in Sheikh Zayed Stadium. The IPL 2020 opener match is a repeat of last year’s final with both the teams looking to make a statement by winning the most awaited opening match of the Indian Premier League.

The ICC on Saturday shared a video on its Official Twitter handle giving an insight of the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi- the venue for the CSK vs. MI Clash. “The Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, which is set to host the IPL opener today, was also one of the venues for last year’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifier. Take a tour of the stadium and hear from the players what to expect at the venue,” tweeted the ICC on its Official Twitter handle.

The match between CSK & MI is a most awaited clash which will give fans a chance to witness their favorite Dhoni taking the field for the first time since India’s ODI World Cup 2019 which India loss to New Zealand in the Semifinals. Dhoni has announced his retirement from International Cricket & will now be seen playing only in the Indian Premier League.

Rohit Sharma will lead the Mumbai Indians team & will look forward to win the IPL title for the fifth time. Rohit has been on the winner’s podium five times having won the title with Deccan Chargers in 2009. Whereas Dhoni has led CSK to IPL title for three times & will be trying to win the trophy again for his squad in the coming IPL.
