Pakistani bowlers Hasan Ali, Nauman Ali & Shaheen Afridi on Wednesday grabs the career-best positions in the ICC Men’s Test Players Rankings after becoming the first trio of Pakistan to register five wickets hauls in one particular match.

Ravichandran Ashwin becomes the only Indian bowler to grab a spot in the top 10 of ICC Rankings in the test format & has successfully retained his career-best second spot in the ICC Men’s Test Players Rankings list. Jasprit Bumrah remains in 11th position in the ICC men’s Test Players Rankings list. Whereas Pakistani pacer Hasan Ali, Shaheen Afridi & Nauman Ali who played important roles in Pakistan’s second test match win against Zimbabwe to complete a 2-0 series whitewash victory also advance up in the ICC Test Players Rankings List.

Hasan Ali has moved up to six places to occupy the 14th spot in the rankings list whereas Shaheen Afridi climbs up to nine places to reach the 22nd spot. Nauman Ali has gone from 54th spot to 46th spot after becoming the third bowler of the same team finishing with five-wicket hauls in the same test. It was the first situation in 28 years where three bowlers of the same team registered five wickets haul in the same test match.

Abid Ali’s blistering 215 runs knock helped him to move up to 38 places to reach 40th position among the batsmen while Azhar Ali gained four places to reach 16th position in the Tets Rankings list by scoring 126 runs. Nauman Ali’s quick 97 runs knock helped him to advance 35 places to reach the 116th spot in the Test rankings list.

For Zimbabwe, Batsman Regis Chakabva has gained 16 slots to reach 81st position on the Test Rankings list by scoring 33 & 80 runs while Luke Jongwe has entered the rankings list by occupying 133rd position. Whereas Zimbabwe’s pacer Muzarabani’s three wickets haul helped him to move up by four places to reach 51st spot while Tendai Chisoro moves up by 11 slots to grab 110th position on the ICC Men’s Test Rankings List.
